C-Section reasons:

When you’re in the midst of intense labor it’s often difficult to make sense of what is happening. It’s almost impossible to process when your provider says something like “Your baby’s heart rate has dropped and is not recovering. We need to do a c-section right now.”

Agreeing to an emergency c-section is both difficult and easy. Easy because experts are telling you your baby is in distress but difficult because processing what is being said is hard to accept. The best thing you can do is educate yourself before going into labor so it might be a little less overwhelming and terrifying. Understand what medical conditions you have and make sure all your questions are answered BEFORE you arrive in labor.

Although you can not predict how your labor will go, you can come prepared with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions.
