CAFFEINE?

Can I have caffeine after my baby?

It depends…

It’s important to limit caffeine during pregnancy because it is possible, according to the March of Dimes, it can cause be linked to low birth weight or miscarriage.
However, studies have shown a limited amount, 200mg (the size of a tall Starbucks cup) is safe. However, if you avoided caffeine during your pregnancy and you’re breastfeeding, it’s best to wait until you’ve stopped since your baby will likely be more affected by the caffeine. On the other hand if you’ve been drinking caffeine during your pregnancy, you can safely continue that SAME amount if your breastfeeding.
